Find the Resource You Need

The Agency Index offers a list of community agencies in alphabetical order. Each agency is assigned an ID number for easy reference in the Directory. If you know the name of an agency, find it in the Agency Index, click it, and you are guided to the agency's listing in the Directory. You can print the agency listing for your use.

The Service Index presents a list of services offered by agencies. One agency may offer more than one service. If you are looking for a type of service - for example, childcare - search the Service Index menu for "child care." You can type in the service type in the search menu, review the listings in that service category, click on the listing you want to explore, and you are guided to the agency listing in the Directory. You can print the listing for your use.

The Location Index provides a list of services organized by the community in which they are located. If you are looking for a type of service in a certain community, you can type in the name of the community, review the service categories until you find the listing in a service category, click on the listing you want to explore, and you are guided to the agency listing in the Directory. You can print the listing for your use.

Agency Descriptions are listed in alphabetical order by ID number. An Agency Description presents detailed information provided by the agency or obtained by research. It includes details that assist persons in selecting appropriate services and avoiding unnecessary travel or searching. It lists physical address for walk-in service, mailing address if different from physical address, telephone numbers, fax number, e-mail address, website (URL), contact persons, accessibility for people with disabilities if provided, languages spoken, hours of operation, eligibility requirements, intake procedures, and program explanations.

What's in the Directory

You can use this Directory to find resources available to residents and visitors of the Verde Valley region of Arizona. Those resources include local programs as well as services extended to the region from other parts of the world. We list more than 1,200 agencies and 2,700 services.

Listings include governmental services, nonprofit organizations, profit-making businesses recommended by community services, schools, services offered by faith-based organizations to persons outside their congregations, self-help groups, associations and unincorporated advocacy groups.

Cornucopia does not endorse any of the agencies, organizations, programs or services listed in the Directory. Persons using any of the listings remain responsible for their choice of agency, organization, program or service.

Listings are included on recommendation by other organizations or from publicity as community resources in newspapers, newsletters and directories.

We update Directory listings when community organizations inform us of changes.
